Do you like to write? In the current decade, more online jobs are available for people to work from home. One of those jobs is writing. As the internet and websites become easily accessible by everyone, online jobs for writers are becoming more popular. Magazines, newspapers, business and individuals are constantly seeking for SEO copywriters, Content writers, Ghost writers, or affiliate bloggers to write for articles or blogs for their websites, online books, or contents for social media.
In this article we will discuss some online jobs for writers, what they are and how we can take advantage of them.
SEO copywriters
SEO copywriter is a brand new job evolved for online writing over the years. It is a combination of writing SEO keywords phrases for search engines and quality contents for the readers.
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Ideally the writer would want to include common key phrases in the content of a website. When a reader is looking for information, he or she often types in a keyword phrase into a search box. The search engine such as Google or Bing then returns a list of the different website links that contains the targeted keyword phrases. If your keywords are being called then your page will be in the line up among the list of website links for the readers.
Often you would want your keywords to be rank as the first few pages of any search engine to be exposed to more readers. If it is ranked on page 10 or more, your website will not be seen as often by readers. This is where SEO comes in handy. It boosts the website to rank on the first few pages of a search.

Copywriting is a salesman article that engage the reader with useful information and prompts them to buy a product, subscribe to a list, or click on a link which leads to other affiliate programs. Copywriting is an art.
Once you put both SEO copywriting together you have a specialized form of online writing that contains targeted keywords used by consumers to search online, help rank higher in search result, and drives online traffic with useful and engaging content.
According to Glassdoor.com, the average salary for a SEO copywriter is $71,137 in the United States. Does this job interest you?

Content writers
Content writing nowadays usually means for the internet. However, it is not limited to only the internet. The most common ones are for websites such as blog posts, social media posts, or videos. The goal of a content writer is similar to a SEO copywriter which is created a sale. However, the writing is more focus on content then having keywords SEO. We want the content to be helpful and of value. The purpose is to gain the reader trust and for them to return for more.
To be a good content writer, it is important to have been solid on grammar, spelling, and style. The ability to write quickly and creatively with excellent researching skills are a must. More often you will need to perform under tight deadline schedules.
According to Payscale.com, the average salary of a content writer makes $42,042 per year. Here is website that can help you find work as a content writer ==> Click HERE.
Ghost writers
Ghost writers are writer for hire to write books, journalistic works, or speeches on the behalf of the author.
The roles of a ghost writer may vary from editing a finished work or rough draft to do most of the writing based on an outline provided by the author. They often spend from several months to a year researching, writing and editing fictions and nonfiction book for the author. Outside of story books, a ghost writer sometimes write treatments for screenplays, marketing, promotions, sales, religious, academic, and medical documents, website blogs or articles, music, and visual art.

Affiliate Bloggers
A blog is a journal where writers express themselves with their thoughts and passion in a form of natural writing as if you and I are speaking directly to each other. A blog is also known as a weblog where pages of blogs are written as the content of a website. This writing style is more flexible on the grammar and/or spelling. However, I still think grammar and spelling is an important aspect of any writing. Otherwise, the writing becomes sloppy and hard to understand.
Most bloggers create websites and share their passion and valuable information freely online to the world. If their content is engaging and of value to the reader, the bloggers gain trust and receive repeat readers along with referrals which turns into frequent and more traffic to your website.
You may wonder how on earth do bloggers make money if everything is free? That is where affiliates come in to the picture. Once the bloggers have proven themselves to be an authority on the subject or niche that they are writing about, they share reviews or recommendation of products or services of a company. The readers are open to recommendations and may find them useful for what they want or need. They can buy their products anywhere but once you establish a connection with the buyer sometimes they will prefer to buy it directly through you.
Most businesses are now turned to people like you and I as their affiliates to help promote their products or services online. It is another form of marketing. In return, these companies will pay a percentage of their sale every time someone purchase their products or services through our websites. This percentage may varies from 5% to 50%. The blogger is now an affiliate marketer or affiliate blogger.
As an affiliate marketer, the pay may vary. Do not give up your day job and expect a high pay out in the beginning. Some high level marketer can make $20,000 to $30,000 a month while others if lucky bring in $200 to $300 a month. Making a lot of money could happen as if overnight and it happened before. However, this does not often happen to the average person for the first six months to a year. For the most part, it will require dedication, consistency, and commitment from your part to become successful as an affiliate blogger.
Being an affiliate blogger is a skill that can be learned. There are a lot of online assistance available. However, there are also a lot of scams floating about as well. It is hard to tell them apart when you are new to the affiliate blogging world. I have done extensive research and went through trial and errors through the past fifteen years with online and websites. I found Wealthy Affiliate to be one of the best affiliate marketing company available out there that teaches and support their clients how to become affiliate marketers from the ground up.
